Does what it says... :D, April 28, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Whetstone Cutlery Survival Knife Set Stainless Steel with Magnesium Fire Starter Knife (Sports) Granted these knifes aren't the sharpest, best looking, or best quality... BUT they do exactly what is intended for this item. The blades are easy to use against the flint and I have never had a problem getting a fire to start using them. I think there are better items out there, but these work for fire-starting. No need to get fancy.

Good beginers knife., March 29, 2012 This review is from: Whetstone Cutlery Survival Knife Set Stainless Steel with Magnesium Fire Starter Knife (Sports) This knife is extremely sharp, and the little knife is much better to use with the fire starter. The string on the fire starter fell of after a couple of weeks, but it isn't really a big deal. If your looking for a good beginners knife, this is the place to start.
