Worth every penny.. and then some, if you can believe that!, February 8, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Full Tang Tanto Hunting Knife W/ Fire Starter (Sports) For the price of this package, you really can't complain. Obviously, you aren't paying for the best quality knife. But, for the cost, this knife is fantastic, and the spark stick alone is worth half the cost. The sheath isn't the best, just your typical soft nylon style, but that really is the only thing I don't like about this set-up. This is one of those few things that actually feels like you are getting more than you are paying for!
If you are ever putting together any kind of survival kit, first aid kit, or are into pretty much any kind of outdoors lifestyles, this truly is a must have tool! As a hunter, camper, skier, mountain biker, and all around survivalist, I cannot give this item enough praise!
Just a general heads-up though, as far as knives purchased via Amazon go, this one is by far the sharpest one I've ever received, and it keeps its sharpness very well.

OK purchase, June 25, 2010 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Full Tang Tanto Hunting Knife W/ Fire Starter (Sports) The knife isn't very big, and comes wrapped in a cheap green cord. I removed the cord and wrapped it with para-cord, it looks much better now. All in all not bad for china made. The fire starter works but may snap when worn down a bit.

I immediately knew it was something special as I could feel the box pulsating with pure power and adrenaline. I did not even have to open the box. Sensing my presence, the knife cut itself out of the box. Taking the knife into my hand, I could feel it leading me. I followed it deep into the wilderness where I slaughtered my first boar. I dragged the boar back to my house and prepared a feast for the entire neighborhood. The Men willingly gave their wives over to me for the night. With this knife, I truly feel like an immortal. Buy this knife, slaughter a boar, and sleep with the entire neighborhood.
