15" Jungle Master was WAY more than I expected, September 3, 2009 By This review is from: Jungle Master JM-001L Fixed Blade Knife (15-Inch Overall) (Sports) This knife is f-ing awesome. I was a little skeptical because of the price and I was blown away by the quality. This thing is sturdy and HUGE. I bought it for a camping trip in the woods of northern California and it did not leave my side one time. It worked for everything from widdling to fish gutting to scaring off some would be drunken "bad asses".
The sheath leaves a little (just a little) to be desired as it has this smooth what I think to be cardboard on the inside to prevent the knife cutting through the nylon, which is good because this thing came pretty damn sharp. Also there is no leg strap, but I was able remedied that with a tie strap and little creativity.
This guy now has a new permanent home in my night stand drawer and I have a feeling that he will be around for a long time to come.
I would recommend this knife to anyone who is looking for a good solid utility knife. For the price you could beat the crap out of it and buy another, but I... Read more

I got this knife last month and just decided to take a look at it and perform the usual tests. The first test I always do is I grip the knife on both sides of the blade and pull it a little toward the handle to see if it's loose. When I did that with this blade, IT BROKE! It didn't just come off, it literally broke inside the handle. And no, I am not superman. This knife is a piece of junk, and it also cut me when it broke, so it's a stupid piece of junk.

I updated this now to make it a 3 star rating because there's a hole I can use to bolt the blade onto another handle and it's a pretty good blade, possibly worth the money for the blade alone.
