I've had mine for 15 years. The steel on this knife is Chrome-Molybdenum, Vanadium alloy, like all good indestructible power tool bits. I honed mine razor sharp with a Lansky system, and it has held its edge after opening several coconuts. It has stayed rust-free, which is more than I can say for the Puma I bought for my wife. The knife rattles in its sheath, but I fixed that with a leather strap trimmed to fit. This knife won't let you down.
Its very sturdy, very comfortable feel to it, good weight I just wish it was sharper from the factory. Other than that it's awesome.
